One year later:
We opened July 1,2011.  We feel that we were sucessful for a newly started shop!  Now almost 1 year from opening, we are closing.  Wait!  Only to expand!  May 25th will be my last day until early July 2012.  After going to Atlanta to care for my youngest grandson for a few days, we will be back here knockin out walls and such.  I will be back in touch!

May 16TH.
Still not open. We have computer and all that now. The fun part is starting. We have to teach ourselves how to use the software and inventory stock. Price and tag. Wish us luck!

Slow going

Welcome to NEST consignments blog. Please be patient with me as I am fairly new to blogging.

We are trying to get ready for our opening day and it really is like walking backwards. The city o Myrtle Beach approved our signs on Thursday last week. What a relief! I knew they would but official is always good.

Now we can buy our software and get all the goodies put into the computer. I want to be open by 30.April because old downtown is hosting a street festival. It is called the FAME Festival. Food, Art, Music and Entertainment.

If anyone has nice furniture, art, china etc. to consign, PLEASE email me photos listing dimensions, condition and what you think the merchandise is worth. Keep in mind that there are a lot of shops doing consignment and competitive pricing is important!
